REMINDER! NEXT WEEK! Grandview’s 2024 Fall Family Festival will be moving to a new time and site! With construction limiting our space, we are changing the event to an outdoor space and holding it on a Saturday to help accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. The Fall Family Festival will be held Saturday, September 21st from 2 PM until 6 PM at the Ben Flora rear Parking area near the Bellevue Community Stadium/Gilligan Field. There will be booths, inflatables, food, face painting, and music! Bring the whole family for lots of fun and support Grandview Elementary!

KY High Attendance Day was a huge success! A big thank you to Grateful Threads and Bellevue Gold Star Chili for their generous giveaway donations throughout the day, and to the BHS Athletic Boosters for providing popsicles for all students. Check out our attendance numbers below: • GES: 97.46% • BHS: 94.37% • Overall District Percentage: 95.59% Special shout-out to 2nd and 5th grades for achieving 100% attendance at GES, and to 11th and 12th grades for having the highest percentage at BHS, with 98.11% attendance for both grade levels! Way to go Tigers!

Yesterday, Grandview Elementary Second Graders practiced measuring each other's heights using different measuring tools!

Congratulations to our Middle School football team for their big 24-0 win over rival Dayton! For their win, they were awarded the Terrific Tiger title belt for the day. GO TIGERS #TigerPRIDE

Due to the ongoing safety threat around Laurel County, and with player, and coaching staff safety as our top priority, we have worked with our partners at Lynn Camp High School to cancel the football game scheduled for Saturday, September 14th.

This week, High School Art I students created artwork to represent the elements of art while Art II and III students created artwork to represent the use of principles of design through the elements of art!

ATTENTION GRANDVIEW ELEMENTARY FAMILIES! Please be reminded that tomorrow, September 12th, is picture day! Be sure to come to school prepared!

This week, Bellevue Middle School Seventh Graders created silhouettes! The assignment was to create an artwork about themselves using their silhouette. Students looked at artist Charles Burns who creates silhouettes using black paper and scissors. They then spent time answering questions about themselves and creating symbols that represent who they are. #LoveTheVue #TigerPride

We are aware of the recent events taking place in and around Laurel County. Rest assured that our student safety is our top priority. We will not put our students in harm's way. We are monitoring the situation closely and have been in contact with the administration from Lynn Camp High School.
