Today in Tigers Read, students enjoyed a fun-filled visit with their buddies! They practiced their reading skills by sharing their Decodable Readers and celebrated the season by working on Valentine’s activities, strengthening both literacy skills and connections with their buddies.

Districtwide Art Classes have been working on creating different types of weavings!

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade have been working on varying levels of weaving from cutting skills and patterns in Kindergarten, to paper plate weavings in Fifth Grade.

Middle School Art Students planned and implemented patterned designs in paper weavings.

High School Art Students created yearn weavings.

Grandview Elementary made history at the 2026 Governor’s Cup District Competition!

For the first time in 17 years, Grandview earned 2nd place overall, finishing ahead of Ruth Moyer Elementary, St. Catherine of Siena, and St. Thomas. The team also earned the Hume Sportsmanship Award, recognizing their character, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout the competition.
