Yesterday, Grandview Elementary Second Graders had a blast learning about the life of a dollar bill and learning about saving and spending money. One student brought in his awesome coin collection and got to share all about it with the class! Students wrapped up the day cozied up in blanket forts reading their favorite books.

Congratulations to students Kaniya and Amanda who tied for first place in the “Trackers Earth” March coloring contest for the High School age bracket! Trackers Earth is in Portland, Oregon and is a similar organization to the Outdoor Adventure Crew of Greater Cincinnati. The judges acknowledged that Kaniya and Amanda styles were very different and could tell both students put a lot of work into their coloring pages and created something unique. Yesterday, Grandview Elementary Second Graders took a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo and had a fun day exploring and meeting different animals!

We kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week at BMHS with a 90’s theme! Today was “As If, we wouldn’t celebrate Cinco De Mayo!” Thank you to Cancun Mexican Restaurant on the River and BMHS Admin for a Taco and Nacho bar! Inspiring times at the 3rd Northern Kentucky Youth Mental Health Roundtable Event, “Be the Voice, Be the Change!” Last week, Members of the S.M.I.L.E. Club came together with students from regional schools to share their thoughts on mental health and how they can make an impact. Today and yesterday, our Seniors wrapped up their Portrait of a Graduate presentations. We are so proud of the work our Seniors put into their presentations and we can't wait to see the great things they will do in the future!
