Good Afternoon Bellevue Families, This message is to inform you of an occurrence that took place this afternoon during 5th grade recess at Grandview Elementary School. Four students reported a man (described as mid 40’s, wearing jeans, gray shirt, and green hat) in the woods behind the fence attempting to interact with them. Our students did not speak and immediately reported this to adults. Mr. Forshey, assistant principal and Officer Rowland, SRO along with other officers searched the area, but the individual was not spotted. We are continuing to work with the police department and searching our cameras as well. We are proud of our students for alerting adults immediately and we will continue to monitor the situation and do all we can to ensure the safety of our students. We ask that you also remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police. Sincerely, Misty Middleton Superintendent

This morning, students in embroidery class worked on creating cyanotypes using nature and the power of the sun. They will later use the impressions that were made as patterns to embroider! #LoveTheVue #BellevueProud

High School art students have been exploring the artistic technique of printmaking through linoleum art. Students are creating their own designs, carving them out of linoleum blocks, and will be printing them with a printing press. #LoveTheVue #BellevueProud

This Friday, My 3rd, the Bellevue Baseball Program is hosting our Alumni Night during and after our game with Holmes High School. The first pitch is at 5:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Field at the Bellevue Vets. There will be a light faire (finger foods) reception following the game at the Bellevue Vets Hall and Sun Deck during which we will introduce the inaugural list of names that will be included in the newly formed Bellevue Baseball Wall of Honor. The inaugural class will include: James “Bus” Clark Class of 1929 Bob “Moose” Himmler Class of 1938 Herschel Hisle Class of 1948 Sonny Rechtin Class of 1948 Bob Jones Class of 1958 Mike Swauger Class of 1965 Grant Cofojohn Class of 1974 Doak Schulte Class of 1974 Doug Miller Class of 1983 Lenny Bays Class of 1998 Alex Hegge Class of 2010 Briley Seiter Class of 2016 The Agenda will be as follows: 5:00 PM - Varsity Game vs. Holmes 30 minutes after the game we will introduce the inductees! There will be soft drinks and water available, a cash bar is also available.
