High School Art Students created collages using magazines! They looked at Megan Coyle's collage artwork, practiced it, and learned about her as an artist. Some students found their own technique while others mimicked Coyle's style!

ATTENTION BMHS FAMILIES! Due to the predicted weather forecast, all Bellevue Independent Schools will operate on an NTI Day schedule on Friday, January 10th. The school campus is also closed for the day. For BMHS this means the following: Due to the campus being closed, breakfast and lunch will not be available. All class sessions will take place via Google Meet following the schedules listed below. Our Flat Rangers made it back to Kentucky! Thank you to the National Park Service Rangers and volunteers for enthusiastically sharing information about their individual parks. We appreciate them taking the time to photograph our Flat Rangers enjoying their National Park system. It has provided an excellent opportunity for our students in the first semester to learn why it is important to explore, preserve, and protect these national treasures. Thank you to Ms. O’Neill for organizing this experience for our students!

High School Art students challenged themselves by using oil pastels on tar paper before winter break. They started by researching artists for inspiration for their oil pastel artwork. By using the tar paper, if the student wanted, they could draw with soap and later wash off the soap by running their artwork under water.

Bellevue Independent Schools, preschool-12th grade, will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Thursday, 1/9. There will be no preschool transportation. The Southgate bus will operate on its normal schedule. Everyone please bundle up, be safe, and ensure you have enough time to get to school. We will see you in the morning!

Congratulations to Courtney McCarty for grabbing her 500th career rebound during the Lady Tigers 58-41 win over Dayton in the opening round of the All A Classic 9th Region Tournament. The Lady Tigers will play in the Regional Semifinal on Friday night vs Newport Central Catholic at 6 PM at St. Henry District High School. #LoveTheVue #TigerPride
