Please see below for a message from the City of Bellevue: Dear Parents & Students, We are thrilled to invite you to our 23rd Annual Art in the Park, happening on Saturday, September 14th! Please join us from 10 AM to 5 PM at Thomas J. Wiethorn Memorial Beach Park for a day filled with art, music, and community spirit. This year’s event will be amazing, featuring over 80 talented artists and craftspersons showcasing their work against the beautiful backdrop of the Ohio River. In addition to exploring local art, attendees can enjoy live music, delicious food and drink from local vendors. One of the festival’s main attractions is our Silent Auction, with 100% of the proceeds going to support art programs at Grandview Elementary, Holy Trinity, and Bellevue High School. Donations made at the free Kids Art Tent during the event will also benefit these programs. The success of our festival is largely due to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. Each year, volunteers help create a welcoming environment for artists and visitors, enhancing the unique charm of our community. We would love for you to join us as a volunteer this year. Your support will be essential in making the festival a memorable experience for everyone. Volunteer roles include: - Setting up and breaking down the event - Assisting artists with their setups, breakdowns, and needs throughout the day - Managing the Kids Art Tent and engaging with young attendees - Supporting the Silent Auction and ensuring it runs smoothly - Providing general assistance and information to festival-goers As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a complimentary festival t-shirt to commemorate the event. Today, Mr. Hallman's 8th Graders used productive struggle and worked together to figure out why things sometimes get damaged when they collide. These students learned about contact forces by coming up with examples and figuring out what caused the collision. #LoveTheVue #bellevueproud #TigerPride
