High School Art Students created works of art made out of cardboard that are based on Louis Nevelson's artwork. She created installations out of wood and would paint them in a monochromatic color.
"Nevelson described herself not as a painter nor a sculptor, but as an architect building with shadow and light. Her love of Cubism inspired her to always make work that rewarded movement—an expression of the fourth dimension. She was interested in making environments into which both body and mind could travel." - Ideelart.com
Most students chose to paint their overall piece, some monochromatic, others with multiple colors!
Today in Gym Class, each grade at Grandview Elementary played different sorting games and competed to see who could get everything back in place the fastest!
