At Monday's Board Meeting, We celebrated Laurie Lance, Janet O'Neill, Rob Sanders, and Bruce Tosolt, who are all retiring at the end of the year.
Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you all for your dedication to our schools. Each one of our retirees has contributed so much to our students, fellow coworkers, and our community and have made Bellevue a better place during their time here.
Thank you all for everything! Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!

We are currently without electricity at Grandview. All students have eaten lunch, we still have functioning restrooms, and the temp in the building is comfortable. We feel that all students are safe until dismissal at 2. However, if you feel you would like to pick up your student, you are welcome to do so. We will not mark students absent for leaving early today.

At last night's Board Meeting, Willow Lowe-Hoelmer was recognized for placing 3rd in the Junior Division at the Kentucky National History Day Competition and being chosen as first alternate to the national competition in Washington DC!
The National History Day Competition is the most prestigious history competition in the United States and only two students per state move on to the national competition. As Willow is first alternate, this places her among the top 150 students in the nation.
Her project, "The United States responsibility to the Cherokee Nation" was commended by judges as very unique, a depth of primary sources, and especially loved the multiple perspectives she used.
Congratulations!

At last night's Board Meeting, Oliver Hopper was recognized for having her artwork accepted into the Cincinnati Art Museum's 10x10 Student Art show in April!
This was the 2nd time her artwork has been accepted into this show. The work that was on display in April was chosen to be published in Tellus Zine, a publication from Kennedy Heights Arts Center in Cincinnati, OH.
This piece will be featured in their upcoming publication, Issue 007: “Cosmos”.
Congratulations!
