Mental Health Action Day was founded to shift our mental health culture from awareness to action! This movement is powered by a growing coalition of more than 2,000 nonprofits, brands, government agencies, and influential leaders from more than 32 countries that spread the message that, just like our physical health, we can take actions to improve our mental health. Together, we'll do even more to drive our culture from awareness to action on mental health. BISD will be observing Mental Health Action Day on Friday, May 17th, 2024. We are inviting students, families, and the community to take action and purchase one of our available t-shirts to raise money for mental health efforts. The funds received will be used for mental health and prevention initiatives available to Bellevue’s students and families (i.e., The Dinner Table Project). Students, staff, families, and community members are encouraged to wear the shirt on Mental Health Action Day. And the content is appliable to parents and athletes involved with any sports. Hello Grandview families! The PTA and parent volunteers are preparing to celebrate and thank our teachers the week of May 6-10.
